The cover features an illustration of Moominpappaand Moomintroll. The artwork is from the novel “MoominsummerMadness”. The matte gray cover material and the striking red spinetape create a color scheme that highlights the charm of thecharacters while still offering a refined, sophisticated look.

The 3.7 millimeter graph paper is the same as that of the Hobonichi Techo Original. The color of the ink on the page changes (red / blue / green / purple) every 72 pages. This makes it easy to split the book into several themes or use the colors as a way to more easily find old entries.
